How to Download PDF Files:

Please print this page before proceeding, in order to make the downloading process quick and easy to follow!

Our downloadable materials are best viewed though Internet Explorer version 4.0 or higher, Netscape Navigator version 3.0 or higher, and AOL version 4.0 or higher.  If you need to upgrade your browser, please do that first --  before you download the Acrobat Reader.  Upgrading your browser first will allow the Acrobat Reader to install the files necessary to display all the contents of this web site.

The documents you may access from this website have been stored in PDF (portable document file) format.  This is a standard document storage format which allows you to download and print our materials quickly.  You must, however, have the free program, Adobe Acrobat Reader version 3.0 or higher, installed on your local computer in order to read the downloaded files.  Using earlier versions of this program may prohibit you from reading these materials.  Note:   If you already have this program installed, you do not need to download it.  Proceed to point C and follow the instructions for downloading and printing your project status reports!

A.  To download the Adobe Acrobat Reader:

  1. Go to www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html (simply click on this link and it will take you directly there!)
  2. Scroll down the page to the section called "Get the Free Acrobat Reader."
  3. In section one, choose English language from the drop-down box.
  4. Select the platform -- the type of computer software you use -- from the drop-down box.   (Select "Win 95" if your platform is Windows98)
  5. Select the location: USA.
  6. Do not check the box provided for searching PDF files.
  7. In section two, select "Business Documents."
  8. Type in your email address.
  9. In section three, click on download.
  10. Click "save this program to disk." Be sure that you remember where you put it on your hard drive!
  11. Your computer will display a file download window during the download.

The amount of time it takes to download this free program depends on your modem speed.  It may take a little time, but once the program is downloaded and installed, you may use it to view numerous documents on our site.   It's well worth the wait!

B.  To install the downloaded Adobe Acrobat Reader:

  1. Close all programs.

  2. Go to the location on your hard drive where you downloaded and saved the program. Double-click on the folder to begin the installation process. When prompted if you wish to continue, click "yes." 

  3. Your computer will take you through an installation process called a wizard. Click the "next" button as you are prompted.  Click "yes" that you agree to the licensing parameters. Click "next" and then "finish."

  4. A "read me" file will appear once the installation is complete.  It is not necessary for you to read or save this file.  Close it.

  5. Installation is complete and you may begin downloading our forms from this web site!

C.  To download documents from this site:

  1. Click on the underlined links.
  2. The materials will download.  The amount of time it takes to download is dependent upon your computer's modem speed.
  3. Once the downloaded material is displayed, print it!  The printed copies are sharp and clear.
  4. After printing, simply click the "back" button on your browser to return to the our web site and continue downloading and printing your forms!  OR if the material was displayed in a separate window, simply click on the browser window to continue searching our site!
